About UEG

Built for engineers who want to do great work.

If you’re a senior engineer thinking about independent practice — or already practicing independently and looking for better projects — this page is for you.

Who we’re looking for

Find the structure that fits where you are.

Tier 1 – Established Firms

You’re already running a practicing firm with your own infrastructure, staff, and administrative capacity. You don’t need UEG to run your business. You want access to a curated project network and a collaborative delivery platform.

  • Access to UEG’s client and project network
  • Prime contract management — UEG holds the client contract

Tier 2 – Independent Practitioner

You’ve already made the move to independent practice. You’re incorporated, registered, and delivering work — but the admin side takes time away from engineering. UEG gives you the network plus optional support to take what’s useful off your plate.

  • UEG email address and document templates
  • Optional: bookkeeping, accounting, IT (MS365), document support

Tier 3 – New Company Setup

You have the expertise, the professional standing, and the drive to work independently — but you haven’t yet built the business platform. UEG provides the full setup: incorporation guidance, bookkeeping, IT, accounting, and access to the project network from day one.

  • Full business setup support — incorporation guidance, CRA setup, IT onboarding
  • Ongoing bookkeeping, accounting, and admin support
  • Microsoft 365 and UEG email
  • Project network access and mentorship from day one
